Curriculum vitae Tomforde

Sven Tomforde is a professor for “Intelligent Systems” at the University of Kiel. Before starting in Kiel in 2019, he was working as a group leader for “Autonomic/Organic Computing” at the institute for “Intelligent Embedded Systems” of the University of Kassel and as an interim professor for “Intelligent Systems” at the University of Passau. He received his PhD in the context of self-learning systems at the Leibniz Universität Hannover and his habilitation in the context of Organic Computing systems at the University of Augsburg. His research interests consider technical data analysis, highly autonomous learning in intelligent systems and mechanisms for self-organisation.
